I am Aaron McCollum, deeply inspired by my grandfather, who owned and operated his own trucking company. Growing up, I witnessed the dedication and hard work that went into building a business that not only thrived but also supported the community. This legacy of passion and commitment has motivated me to follow in his footsteps and establish my own trucking company.
At Dowell Express Inc., our mission extends beyond mere transportation. Dowell Express Inc. is a family-owned transportation company based in Jefferson, Georgia. From our own yard, with our own fleet and our own people, we run local and OTR freight for customers across the country.
Today that work takes three forms: asset-based transportation on a growing fleet, yard management built around each customer's operation, and brokerage services that flex beyond our own trucks. Different services, one standard — run it safely, run it right.
Family-owned isn't a slogan here; it's how the place works. The people responsible for this company are the ones running it day to day, the drivers are known by name, and a promise made to a customer is kept by the same people who made it.
And we're still building — adding equipment, adding people, and investing in the tools that make freight easier to move and easier to track.
